Happy holidays! Adios, 2017!

Well, it's been a whirlwind 2 months! In just these 8 weeks, I think I've been to a dozen book signings and events promoting all 3 of my books. It's almost time for a little rest. 2017 has been so extreme, in good ways and in bad, but it has been a year of growth. I am so thrilled that The Unhuggables is doing so well and can only hope it has even more success in 2018. On December 1st, we learned that The Unhuggables, thanks to the brilliant and bright work of illustrator, Alexis Braud, won first place in the book cover contest for the Authors Talk About It website for October/November, so soon after being released. It has also been listed as a resource on the Autism Speaks Resource Library. Coming up just after the new year, I will start off with a signing at Monkey and Dog Books in Fort Worth on January 13th at 11 am.There might just be more news in store soon.

Overall, I'm just grateful to be spreading an important message, one of acceptance and love even when things are difficult. There is nothing more powerful than love and great hugs. Keep reading, learning and loving as we ring in 2018!
